Global School Play Day

Yesterday, February 1st, we celebrated Global School Play Day (GSPD). The idea behind this day is to bring back unstructured, creative play time for children. With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, play, in its simplest form, is often forgotten. For GSPD, children were invited to bring in a toy from home to share and explore with. We started our day by creating a list of expectations to help the day run smoothly. Children were then able to engage in whatever play their little hearts desired (for the most part!) It was amazing to watch the collaboration, creativity, conversations, and fun that took place! I tried to take many pictures throughout the day to document how wonderful it was! Please enjoy them!
