This song is a great way to start our day, and it also helps the children practice reading each others' names, as we display the song with name cards in a pocket chart. Today we discussed the many ways you could respond when someone asks you how you are. The responses were varied, and included: splendid! wonderful! awesome! fantastic! great! good! marvelous! superb! fine! happy! super! We will practice these new vocabulary words when we sing our new favorite song next week!
