Happy Halloween!

We have spent the last few days preparing for our exciting Halloween celebration! We learned about the pumpkin life cycle, had some fun with glitter, and read many books about our favorite fall holiday. On Halloween, we all dressed up in our costumes. There were princesses, bumblebees, transformers, and more parading through the school to show off our outfits and we had so much fun snacking on all of the yummy treats you sent in! In the afternoon, we participated in the second annual "Fun-O-Ween." The sixth graders of H.C.S. put so much work into preparing a variety of Halloween-themed activities for the K-2 students to participate in. We did the limbo, tossed bean bags, listened to spooky stories, and played "Ghost in the Graveyard," and had a wonderful time! After all of the fun of the day and what I'm sure was a busy night of trick-or-treating, it's a good thing the day after Halloween was pajama day!

Please enjoy these pictures from our busy Halloween day!
